In Lightening’s Blogworld This Week

Colin from Adelaide Green Porridge Cafe presented a very witty Australian Carnival. If you’re not one to be interested in reading carnivals and their posts, this one is still VERY worth the read. Colin has a real gift for expressing things in a rather entertaining manner. You can find it at Aussie Carnival of Sorry, Love, Whales and Other Stuff.

Craig Harper wrote a very entertaining post about Big Blokes in Skirts. Amongst all his humour he managed to weave in some very poignant points about the happiness found amongst the Fijians where he is staying (and I’m totally NOT jealous…..not even one little bit….. Wink Just wondering to myself how I can get a job that takes me to Fiji…..)

And if you’re in need of some tips for a “pick me up”, his post “20 Tips for Staying Positive and Productive” is certainly worth a read too.

Frogdancer wrote a post that seems to fit with the theme of humour that is permeating my blogworld this week. “Over the Hump” discusses how socks can replace a man in one’s life. Wink

On a totally non-humorous but absolutely fascinating note, Guera’s guest post on a Road Less Travelled, “Saudi Arabia: The Magic Kingdom” is a must read.

On The Aussie Bloggers Forum This Week

Two friends conspired against a third to get as many comments on her blog as possible. Just a little bit of blog-natured fun.

Snoskred shared a post she found which listed 20 things that culturally define Australia (yes I am going to make you go via the Aussie Bloggers Forum to find the link Wink).

And I discovered you can get a mini laptop in PINK!!!

For the technically minded, there’s the discussion on Preventing People Viewing Images Directly.

For friendship, fun and lots of blogging know how, pop in to the Aussie Bloggers Forum. Smile

And that’s it for another weekly wrap-up folks. Happy Reading!

Neerav - you’re welcome. Thanks for dropping by. :)

Kelly - so glad you stopped by. Thank you. :)

Thanks for your kind words. Highly appreciated. Carnivals don’t have to be boring, but they do take more work.

I think it still takes a certain talent to be witty and you have that talent Colin. :) It’ll be my turn to host soon so there’s a bit of a new challenge for me!
