In Lightening’s Blogworld This Week

Oh The Joys shared a most heartwarming story of her daughters “Late Night Burst of Joy”. It’s the kind of story that makes your heart go all gooey and soft like warm, melted chocolate on a cold winters day.

Carole at The Healthy Living Lounge published an interesting post claiming that Changing the Color of Your Underwear Could Change Your Mood. I love reading articles about the effect of color on our moods and this one has some interesting tips.

Here’s one I particularly liked:

Research has shown that blue is the most likely color to suppress your appetite. A blue light in your fridge may be just the trick you need.

Fitcat raised some interesting concerns about chocolate and child slavery in the run up to Easter. I admire her determination to continue raising her own awareness on such issues and be prepared to put her “money where her mouth is”. I’m afraid chocolate is my weakness (one of MANY) and I’m not sure how committed I can be to this cause. It’s certainly something I wish to think more about though.

She also referenced a number of posts on Consumption Rebellion that highlight the issue of chocolate and child slavery. Some VERY interested reading (and viewing) there. I’m not at the point where I’m ready to make any bold declarations about what I will and won’t buy just yet. But it’s something I’d like to learn more about.

Entrecard Favourites has a great post You Know You’re Addicted to Entrecard When… . A lighthearted look at the way entrecarding may well take over aspects of your life. Any dedicated entrecarder will get a chuckle from this list.

Just a short entry from me this week. I hope you enjoy browsing some of these articles.

Have a great weekend!!! Smile
