In Lightening’s Blogworld This Week

Abundance Highway has a great post on Just Being. The photograph used is fabulous and I could sit and just look at it for quite some time. It’s amazing the sense of well-being that a simple graphic can produce within us.

If you want to brighten up your day a little you have to read the most hilarious account of bra shopping I have read this year (or last year for that matter). I could so relate to Jeanie’s experiences (even though I may not be quite the same shape/size that she is).

Australian Women Online has posted a great tongue-in-cheek article on Mother-in-Law Etiquette.

Cellobella asks the question as to whether Christians find this Mr Bean clip offensive and on the topic of Christians and humour, Deborah Robinson has written this interesting (and amusing) post on the “Top 10 signs your Christian conversion didn’t take”. You’ll most likely need to be a Christian with a sense of humour in order to find these funny (or at least have had some background knowledge in order to “get” the humour in them).

And we cannot go into Easter without a couple of Easter posts. Smile

Here’s one from The Tin House on nice buns. I do like the idea of using an icing cross as my kids HATE the flour crosses on hot cross buns.

Magnetoboldtoo has gone and lost the plot again with Easter Decorating. I did kindly point out to her that the only kind of decorating necessary at Easter time was that of lining the stomach with chocolate! Smile Ooh, and she’s even decorated her blog for the occasion - I’m sure giving up her coffee beans was a sacrifice too!!!

In the Aussie Bloggers Forum This Week

Swollenpickles posted a link to some great wordpress hacks.

There has been some interesting discussion on the new Wordpress 2.5 upgrade. It would seem the jury is still out as to whether or not the changes will improve the usability of wordpress or make it more difficult.

And a discussion on the difference between “tags” and “categories” has sprung up.

Membership numbers on the Aussie Bloggers Forum are growing daily and at the time of writing numbers were well over 400 which is great for a forum that launched only a few short months ago.

And that’s all from me for this week.  I hope you all have/had a wonderful Easter.  Smile

Thanks I was delighted to read you comment and it makes my heart sing that something so simple touched you in that way.

Cellobella - You’re welcome. :)

Kelley - this blog is all about calling it like I see it. ;)

Suzie - thanks for taking the time to comment. :)

Thanks for the hat-tip, Lightening! It was one of those experiences that you either had to cry about or blog, really! But it is great to find the blogworld so supportive.

Blogging makes for good therapy doesn’t it Jeanie? :) And it’s nice to know we’re not alone in these frustrating situations. I like to employ the laughter part of “if I don’t laugh I’ll cry”. :)
