Our goals are to offer creditable and informative materials at no cost to you.
It contains some interesting articles such as “Is Home Ownership Right For You?” and “Top 10 Buying Questions”.
Home Ownership is a big step and one that seems to be getting more and more intimidating, especially for first home buyers. It’s nice to see a site dedicated to this kind of information.
Things I Liked About This Blog
- The subject matter is a little more unique. It’s a refreshing change from “make money online” blogs that seem to be a dime a dozen at the moment.
- I think it provides a good service for those looking for this kind of information. Most of the information is localised (to the US) but you can’t really do anything differently with this kind of subject matter.
- I liked the display of “popular” posts.
- I like the way the About page introduces each of the contributors and gives some background information which lends weight to their authority on the topic.
Things I Would Do Differently If This Were My Blog
- My first impressions of the blog were that it was a little cluttered and overwhelming. My eyes didn’t easily settle on the content.
- Nearly all of the above the fold screen is dedicated to advertising and site promotion. It would be nice to see a little more content in this part of the screen.
- I couldn’t find any way of accessing past posts by subject matter or category. It would be great to see something like this in the sidebar OR perhaps a page dedicated to some of the more “timeless” posts sorted into some kind of category.
