Blog Browsing While Hungry
I seem to be starring quite a few recipes of late in google reader. I wonder if I’ve been hungry while blog reading?
Here are a few that look DELICIOUS!!!!
Planning Queen has once again outdone herself with her fabulous ideas for parenting, including this Honeycomb Ice Cream Cake she made as a birthday cake for one of her children. This will be great for my children’s summer birthdays.
Published by the lovely Bettina, just the title makes these sound good enough to eat. Wait until you see the recipe!!! I’m planning to try this one very soon.
This is something I have never actually made from scratch but I DO like to eat it.
Thanks Kez!
Some very YUMMY recipes in this post from Ann.
Another fabulous title! These recipes combine some great healthy foods into a snack that sounds delicious!!!
Hmmmm…..I’ve just realised ALL of the above recipes are chocolate based. Comfort cooking do you think???
I hope you find something there you can enjoy. I can’t wait to try them!!!

I haven’t made mud cake before either. This recipe looks great and I will definitely give it a try. Thanks for including my honeycomb ice cream cake too!

Kouji - they do sound good don’t they?
River - I’ve had homemade with a packet mix but not from scratch. Will be interesting to test.
Planning Queen - you’re welcome.
Nicole - indeed!!! VERY human! ![]()
My mud cake has rum in it…..it’s a very dense texture and quite rich, so I serve thin slices with ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream as a dessert. I haven’t made one since I moved here 5 years ago hubby is a “dry” alcoholic and I don’t dare have any alcohol in the house.
I’m a sucker for anything chocolate and my husband is almost a chocoholic so the Chocolate Dream Bars are something I will surely try!
I like the idea of the bliss balls. Not only does it allow you to control what you put into your snacks, but you can also put healthy ingredients into it. Great tips.
Barroc - indeed!!!
River - can you taste the Rum? I think you can substitute with orange juice or something like that for alcohol in those kinds of recipes. Feel free to share the recipe!!!
SEO forums - agreed. Glad you liked.
Bettina - lol. Nothing seems to last long around here. I’d blame the kids but DH is often my biggest culprit.
Eva - me too!!!
Go Green - Yeah, they sound great don’t they.

Chocolate is a gift from God. Coffee and chocolate are the only drugs we need…
