This blog is a blog about my blogging journey. I am by no means an expert when it comes to the topics covered in this blog. I am however, a real person, learning real things and wanting to share what I’m learning with anyone who’d like to listen. I am also extremely passionate about all things blogging.
I first started blogging in November 2006. At that point I knew next to nothing about blogging whatsoever and I’m not even real sure what possessed me to start a blog. With a little encouragement from a few online friends, I continued to post sporadically to the blog, finding I quite enjoyed both the writing and the ensuing interaction with my 3 loyal readers. 
Unsure about anonymity on the internet, I originally chose to use an old nickname from my school days. To continue on with my own personal “branding”, I have extended my online name into other blogging and internet ventures. My given name is Jodi and I will answer to Jodi, Jodes and Lightening. Feel free to address me in a way that you feel comfortable with.
I seem to have developed quite a habit for “blog collecting”.
